One boat had no rinse tank for cameras, (or anything else). Cameras were placed on table and had to be moved quickly to accomodate a smoking engine. |

Dive operation was faulty. No initial boat briefing. On one dive over 20% of the nitrox tanks were unusable because they were underfilled. On another day, they ran out of water after only one dive. Divemasters had an attitude, they strictly warned us about harming the coral yet were found knocking into it with the boat captain going into small crevices. The first day the original boat spewed deisel fumes throughout the dive area so many people got sick. It dumped its coolant into the water on the third day, almost caught fire and limped back to port. The next day we had a better boat from a different operation. The van they used to transport us to and from the resort to the dock broke and we were stranded for about 45 minutes. On one day the nitrox tester failed and they didn't even have a pen to write into the nitrox log. Yet the divemasters asserted that there was nothing wrong with their operation. The resort was great. However, if they want to be a first class dive destination, they should change dive operators. |
