Was basically disappointed in diving. Did not do the Current Cut due to
inappropriate tide. Corals were minimal. Not a lot of fish other than
smaller tropicals.
Very nice dive boat personnel. Seemed a little bit bored but were pleasant
and helpful. Dive shop people were helpful and attentive.
Bahama House Inn (B&B) was nice place within walking distance to
whatever you wanted to do. Accomodating owners. Very fine breakfast.
This small island has been referred to as the Nantucket of the Bahamas.
Cute little brightly painted cottages with picket fences supported this
tag. People throughout the island were friendly and helpful. The golf cart
was the main mode of transportation for everyone.
Food was very expensive at the tourist restaurants. We dined at cafes
generally visited by locals and enjoyed good meals at much lower prices.
