How is this place not better known in the diving world? Maybe the hotel is a bit worn but the wall here is phenomenal! While I dove through the best swim-thrus/caverns at over 100' to come across hammerheads (multiple times!) my friend, who is a novice diver enjoyed checking out all kinds of creatures at the top of the wall at 40'. Always the only boat and not crowded. Dive staff were always ready to assist with anything, answer questions, point out creatures for photo ops and follow any reasonable request. Whole resort atmposhpere layed back and Bahamian. Not much else to do on island but we were given an island tour, party one evening, underwater slide presentation through the hotel. Wish I had known how difficult/expensive it is to buy supplies here such as batteries/film/sunscreen. Maybe I shouldn't tell anyone about this place and keep it a secret. I plan to come back again, soon! |
