Comments The Australian designed and built AquaCat measures 31 meters or 91 feet in length and sports a 10 meter or 30 foot beam, providing for spacious guest rooms, a huge salon and plenty of room to accomodate 22 passengers without the feel of a cattle boat. Departing from Nassau, AquaCat's itinerary takes you to the north end of the Exumas, Eleuthra, Little San Salvador and the East end of New Providence (Nassau). The diving includes a good combination of walls, shallow reefs and probably one of the best in-your-face shark dives. Overall, the diving was somewhat disappointing due to a noticeable lack of marine life. The best diving was in the Exumas Land and Sea Park, which had healthy corals, abundant marine life and was also where the shark dive was conducted. Divers are allowed the discretion of diving their own profiles and nitrox is available. The quality of the crew, the level of service and the comfort of the accomodations on board were unparalled compared to many other live-aboards opertions, which merits a return trips.
