I spent 6 days with the Undersea Explorer out of Port Douglas, diving the North GBR (Osprey Reef, Cod Hole, Admiralty Anchor, Pixie Reef). This was an excellent, well run, knowledgeable, and happy crew. Very professionally done, and a favorite for locals, as well. Food was out of this world! Only bad thing was a bit of swell, and no big sharks to see. The trip is billed as a "research trip", but it's mainly educational- guests do not participate in the research. Overall, an exceptional value. |
