Happy Diver's Club/Atalaya Park Hotel, August 1997, Kelly Hayes-Raitt, Santa Monica, CA. "First dive, my buddy and I lost group. Ended up around a boring rocks, but swam over an octopus out "sunning" itself. 2nd dive: surface swim so miserable, one diver got sick. Three lost each other because viz was so bad. Not much life, but scorpion fish and octopus galore!. Coaxed a cute little guy out to play with us; I reached my bare finger out to him, and he wrapped his tentacle around it. Now I know how ET felt! Well-run dive operation with great equipment."
