"Dove the Inner Islands (Mahe, Praslua, Ladigue, Aride & Frigate) 6 nights, 7 days; $370/night, pricey for condition of boat billed as "The world's finest live-aboard diving Yacht". In dire need of re-fit, especially the toilet plumbing (couldn't put any toilet paper in it). Crew outstanding (ten crew to six guests) and all avid divers fighting for their turn to dive with guests. Not whale shark season but captain spotted them between dive sites so we snorkeled with three for two hours. Not much in the way of soft corals (granite substrate not conducive to their growth). Lots of Inman Ocean Tropicals (large & small) Pelagics and gray reef sharks. Breakfast and lunch OK, dinner with wine better. Land excursions to view unique flora and fauna a nice change of pace. Long haul via London or Paris plus 9 hour flight to Mahe. Whale sharks made it worth the cost and travel time."
