Breaker, June 1996, David P. Ryan, Troy, NY. "Not a true live-aboard; 6 days, 13 dives. 55' catamaran with a crew of 3; 4 staterooms with full-size beds, private head in each room. Pierce our captain set up gear every dive. You were given a briefing and could follow or do your own profile. Food 5 star; service excellent. Vis: 5070 ft. water: 82°86°. Crew made you feel like friends. Everything was first-class. $1565/ person 7 days/6 nights all meals, diving and beverages."

Cuan Law, February 1995, Rebecca Locke, Atlanta, GA. "Our first live-aboard and crew and facilities spoiled us. Diving good, a balance for beginners and experienced divers. The night dive on the Rhone is a treat."

Cuan Law, July 1995, Robert Mathis, Omaha, NE. "Diving good, not as demanding as Cayman or Cozumel. Max depth 80 ft. Staff found good sites and were very accommodating. The cabins great, food excellent and varied. Three dives a day; excellent night dives every night."

Cuan Law, July 1995, Randall Gilmer, Acwoworth, GA. "Excellent food, accommodations, crew, hands-off diving, just slip on your BC and jump in. Good dive sites. Lots of sailing, baths, bar-b-q, Baths tour, medallion hunt for future trip discount. (I found one!). Noisy generator starts at 7:00 am daily. I wish I had known beforehand that crew was willing to wait for us on the first day so we wouldn't have had to arrive the day before to make the 'required' noon departure from Tortola."

Cuan Law, October 1995, Jon Puryear, Edmond, OK. "6-1/2 days in pampered luxury with 18 other divers and nondivers. Ease of diving and helpfulness of the staff made up for lack of difficulty and quality of diving. Gourmet meals. Water-skiing, snorkeling, sailing, sailboarding and kayaking."

Cuan Law, February 1996, David Fanfarillo, Locust Grove, VA. "Huge, spacious, beautifully appointed. State rooms more than anyone could hope for. Good food. Ultimate comfort-party boat with a little diving thrown in. Wide dive deck, but bottle-necked as each diver had to don his tank at the only tank station, then climb down the ladders to the dinghies or an 8 ft. giant stride; rarely anyone to assist. Dive times 40 minutes so high air users would not have to wait in the dinghies for those who were air conservative. We pushed the time limits on most dives without consequence. . . . For 20 divers there was one 20 gallon rinse tank for day. Pretty bad after twenty wet suits, darn right disgusting after sixty. . . . We needed to know before booking: Cuan Law not a dedicated dive live-aboard and three dives (max) not enough. Had to kneel in the sand at 15 ft. and perform mask clearing, regulator recovery, and octopus sharing on the first dive. I thought that was part of certification. vis: 50100 ft. water: 78°80°."

Drumbeat I, December 1995, Catherine Anderson, Castro Valley, CA. "Great week. Captain Mike McGuire is the National Spearfishing Champion and a fantastic scuba instructor. Janis Smith is an excellent divemaster and a great teacher in identifying fish. Mike got us fresh fish. I caught a large lobster. We dove the beautiful wreck of the Rhone, The Invisible, the Indians, Coral Garden, liked the baths, snorkeled and kayaked the caves. Excellent accommodations and delicious food. vis: 50 to 100 ft. water: 70°80°."

Drumbeat I, May 1996, no name, San Jose, CA. "Coral damage due to hurricanes (extensive land damage). Drumbeat is excellent, a great vacation and sailing experience. They do a world-class job! Visit BVI for the sailing and relaxation, not for the islands or diving. 4060 ft. water: 80°85°."
