Guided by divemaster. Vis: 70­80 ft. water: 80°. . . . Owners Rudy and Rinda are professional; make hotel/sightseeing arrangements. Divemaster Pierre is knowledgeable and helpful. Three dives a day; night dives (worthwhile) can be arranged. . . . 15 minute flight from St. Maarten; hotels not the level of more popular spots. Gin House not open; stayed at Talk of the Town; a/c, fresh water showers, rooms are dark and dank. . . . Rainforest in the cone of an extinct volcano is 4 hour strenuous climb; have a qualified guide take you. . . . Dining very good. La Maison Sur La Plage: excellent and expensive. Good: Kings Wells. Abdullah's bakery: butter bread is terrific, the pizza exceptional. Rent a car. Avis at airport."
