1997 Chapbook
  Hawaii

Kona Aggressor, May 1995, Audrey Hamlin, Whitestone, NY. "Hawaii overrated. Lava tubes, dull. Volcanic formations, not dramatic. Marine life not worth the 13 hour flight! Chilly water. Staff attentive, helpful with photo tips - they know where to find the nicer sites. Available for guided tours. Informative briefings. You are treated as an experienced and responsible diver. They monitor your profiles, but let you dive on your own."

Kona Aggressor II, June 1995, Gerald Pond, Tucson, AZ. "Aquatic life, lava tubes, macro subjects yield unique and pleasurable diving. Swam with mantas for an hour; saw a large hammerhead and white tip shark at one site, no others though. Turtles, reef fish plentiful. Crew first rate except the photography pro who was sullen but helpful. Service, food, atmosphere, dive guides, captain, cabin, common room excellent."

Kona Aggressor II, October 1995, Sam Forbes, Aruado, CO. "Second trip on the Kona Aggressor II. First one was great, second even better."

Kona Aggressor, February 1996, Roxann Parran, Kailua, HI. "Whale season: humpbacks surfaced right next to the boat. One dive an 18 ft. whale shark stayed within sight for a few minutes. A good season for whales, but water is colder: 7274°. Jacuzzi came in handy. Coral is not exciting or colorful. Rays, lobster, shrimp, nudibranchs, frogfish, scorpion fish, turtles, four whitetip sharks. The crew know where to find things. 5 dives a day. vis: 5070 ft."

Kona Aggressor, July 1996, Edwardo Masucci, Honolulu, Hawaii. "Food extraordinary; well executed and nicely presented. Crew, although short staffed, friendly and accommodating. Captain created an uneasiness no one should endure (remember we're on vacation here)."
