Dive Grenada/La Source, May 1995, James A. Knieling, Las Vegas, Nev. "All-inclusive resort, great prices, excellent rooms, daily spa with 30 minute massages, excellent food, free drinks and activities such as fencing lessons. 80% British occupancy. Equipment excellent, dive shop courteous; helped with gear leaving you free to have massage. Boat had room for 8 divers. Sites 1020 minutes. Violet vase sponges, black coral forests; school of squid snorkeling off beach. Vis 5075'. Great wreck, the Italian ocean liner Bianca C, 600', sunk in 1961; 9011O' upper deck to 167'at the bottom. Entered from stern, cruising through massive steel girders encrusted with black corals, hydroids, and soft corals. Stopped at the pool, where I envisioned crowds of sun worshipers 35 years ago. Ship has collapsed, leaving skyscraper sized girders. Spotted ray, black coral. . . . Dive Grenada: fast 40' racing hull cabin cruiser to north side of offshore islands: forests of black corals, vibrant vase sponges, several turtles, spotted rays, nice walls. Vis: 50'to 100'. Mainly drift dives. Staff 5 star." Copyright 1997 by DSDL, Inc.Publishers of Undercurrent. All rights reserved.
