La Rumba, Dive Octopus, August 1995. "Went on live-aboard La Rumba out of Isla Margarita on their Los Testigos trip. My wife and I were the only customer, and divemaster Gustavo Correa, Captain Nervelle, Cook Antonio. Gustavo was tremendous ­­ we were treated like royalty by him. It was a tremendous experience going to Los Testigos and visiting with Chon­Chow and his family. . . . The diving is not typical Caribbean. Water much cooler, what you see is much different, more ocean style because of Atlantic waters meeting the Caribbean. Many eels, rays, turtles, lobster, huge angel fish. Visibility 25 to 40 feet."
