Kenneth's Dive Center, April, 1995. "Visited on a cruise ship. Kenneth is one smooth operator, mon. He has several boats, including a nice looking catamaran, which he had lent to AT&T who was using it to find a broken cable. We took a smaller boat, brand new, clean and fast. Along the way to the site, we passed his catamaran, and he realized he was missing some fins and masks for two people, so without missing a beat, he pulled alongside, barked a few commands, and suddenly fins and masks were flying through the air. We didn't even stop. The dive sites were excellent, with good vis, some large fish (two nurse sharks), and lots of macro stuff: great banded and coral shrimp. Tanks were filled properly, and Kenneth lets you do that voodoo that you do so well, without hassles. He keeps an eye on the uninitiated, but lets the more experienced police themselves; how refreshing. . . . Both dives were great, and despite being close to each other, were completely different. . . . I asked if he took credit cards, he said sure, but he couldn't find his machine to get an imprint of my card. So, he tore off a piece of paper, I wrote my card number and expiration, and he told me how much he would charge. A few weeks after we got back, sure enough, there was the charge, exactly as he said. I'll go back, cause St. Kitts has excellent diving, and a great operator in Kenneth." Paul W. Simoni, Coral Gables, FL Copyright 1996 by DSDL, Inc., publishers of Undercurrent. All rights reserved.
