Les Heures Saines, February, 1995. "Been here many times. The good: Excellent dive operation opposite the Reserve Cousteau (Pidgeon Ils.). Dominique and his crew are professional friendly, and speak some English, about $30 U.S. per dive. . . . Part of France, so excellent food, nude & topless beaches, no customs (European style), beautiful beaches & scenery, volcano & waterfalls, great seafood. Creole cuisine plus haute cuisine, best rum on earth, great supermarkets and lots of fresh veggie vendors. . . . The bad: If you don't have a buddy you may get stuck with a French instructor & student limits your depth and site, especially during February school vacation. Not much English spoken."
