I am taking my family to a resort in St Thomas and was hoping to take my certified daughter on her first open water dive while there, any suggestions?

There are numerous dive shops on the island and dozens of shallow sites within a 15 minute boat ride.  The island has several cruise ships that dock each week, so there are a number of shops taking cruisers out for two short morning dives.  Be sure and find a shop that will cater to your needs.

Chris Sawyer Diving near Red Hook. Ask to dive on Castle Reef, SE corner, near The St James Islands and Cow& Calf. There's a wreck, Maj Gen Rogers of the  point in Pillsbury Sound which is an easy dive. It would be quite fun for a newbie.Have fun. Ken
