Hello,
Looking at great prices on trips to the Caymans and Bahamas and have never dove the Caribbean.  Where would YOU go?

Of the places you mention I have been to Bimini, Freeport, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman.  My favorite of all is Little Cayman.  I like the quaintness of the island, the valet diving, and the great resort.  I have a group trip going there soon. Contact me if you are interested in joining us.

Dates for the group trip are June 12th - June 19th, 2010.  If those dates can work for you, let me know for further details!

Just got back from the Bahamas.  Beautiful water; not much to see.  Was very disappointing.  Try the Caymans.

Reneezd,  I've been to numerous locations in the Bahamas and to the Caymans repeatedly and I have to agree with Carriemak--Little Cayman is top notch diving.  Walls are superb! and very laid back feel to the island. Little Cayman Beach Resort is a very well-run operation.  Have fun!

Have to agree Little Cayman is the best choice of the list. I've been to Pirates Point and Southern Cross both are great. If you want to avoid the second plane trip Ocean Frontiers on the East End of Grand Cayman is also a great operation. Nice condos on site. Dive sites are varied with lots of structure some deep walls and cracks.

I would concur that both Compass Point (Ocean Frontiers is the dive centre there), East End - Grand Cayman & Southern Cross Club - Little Cayman are good choices.

One thing about the Bahamas - unrelated to diving:  expect breakfast to run $20 to $25 per person and dinner at least $35 per person.  It's Tahiti-style prices.  Not a reason not to go, just good information to have in advance.
