Halong Bay - Vietnam
« on: January 26, 2010, 17:58:51 UTC »
Has any one dived in Vietnam? I would love to visit Halong Bay - has anyone dived here, is Vietnam worth the trip for the diving? Any info very much appreciated...

Really want to undertake a top side / underwater photo trip!

Looking to put a group together to go if anyone else is up for it!

Hi Kay,

Yes, I have, and it was horrible.  Overfished, minimal life, reefs damaged and dead, decent but no world-class dive ops.
