Aruba diving
« on: September 15, 2009, 04:12:31 UTC »
I'm going to Aruba in December via a cruise ship.
Can anyone recomend a dive operation? And why!

Yes, I was just there and dove with Clive of Dive Aruba (divearuba@setarnet.aw).  He runs his operation out of his home, has a small boat (max 5 divers and Clive).  He knows his stuff and is like diving with your best friend except he knows the island.  We did 4 dives and he gave great  pre-dives, he let us dive our computers and air.  I rented all my equipment from him and it was very good equipment.  I had my own computer and mask.  If you want small group he is you man.  Book early to save a seat.
Diving since 2003 sites visited Aruda, Bonaire, Curacao, Bahamas, Belize, Grand Cayman (8 times), Provo, Grand Turk, Jamaica, Roatan, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Florida Keys,  Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Tulum (Cenotes and Ocean) - like small dive groups and quiet resorts
