Went to Curacao in Feb for the second time and was very disappointed this time around. Did not know about the Hurricane ahead of time but immediately knew something was different. Not as colorful and lots of dead coral pieces. Still made the best of it. Suppose Bonaire would be similar.

Suggest you go to www.bonairetalk.com for direct info on people currently there on/off island.  The last time I was in Bonaire the shallows were hit hard but 60+ seemed o.k. - some areas more sand build-up.

Curacao was the same - however depends on where you stay.
