Back Up Computer
« on: October 03, 2008, 02:06:02 UTC »
Has anyone used the Aladin Prime computer? I am looking for a back up for my Suunto Stinger. I want simple, user friendly battery change and big numbers and letters for old eyes. I would like to place it in my console.

I have seen a lot of these used and they work fine.

Alladin is an excellent computer. May be a bit more liberal than your stinger. A suunto vyper or vyper II will give the same dive profiles as your stinger.  Won't go wrong with either.

I would look at the gekko for a backup... better to keep it in the same line.  That way if one craps out during a dive the other one will still be using the same computer software for the profile.
