Lithium batteries
« on: November 17, 2015, 02:19:28 UTC »
Just read the latest issue article on TSA guidelines for lithium batteries. That would be great if all countries & airports supported the same standards but unfortunately, that ain't how it works, even for AA lithium batts. Going to Cozumel I carried my AA's in the carry-on so I could open & show at security if required - no one even asked to check, although they had taken a peek on a previous trip.
On the checkin back from Cozumel I had the same plan & was happy to open my carry-on to show the blister-packed AA's - they were confiscated. I'm still pissed!
