If not for his family and the divers who dropped everything to save his ass, that idiot would have suffered a slow, lonely death. It's amazing he survived. I just can't understand how some people think it will be okay to dive in caves without proper training. Are they missing some common-sense or self-preservation gene? Perhaps they need to add another 4 hours of training to the basic OW course to describe in detail all the things that certification does NOT prepare you for, like cave diving, wreck diving and walking on water...
