Comments Ban's primary business appears to be diver training. Therefore, you are on a boat filled with students (of all levels--Open Water, Advanced, Photography, Nitrox, etc.) As experienced divers (Divemaster & Advanced), our locations and dives were limited by the people in classes which wasn't a good mix. The boats were crowded (30-40+ people) and, at times, not well organized. We fully anticipated doing 4 dives a day (2 morning, 2 afternoon) but the morning dive location never varies (and, in our opinion, were the worst two locations we saw). Therefore, we changed our plans and only dove in the afternoons. Ban's assigns you a new Divemaster/group for each trip so you aren't able to create relationships. Additionally, while the three Divemasters we dove with were fairly knowledgeable about the sites, only one was experienced and gave a good pre-dive briefing.

Resort rooms/pools/grounds are fabulous and well priced. Meals are inexpensive. Too bad as we will not go back for the diving.
