Comments	The coast of Dauin or south of Dumaguete was severely damaged by the storm and surge that hit the area in Dec. 2011. Several resorts are in the general area including Atlantis. But the shore and coast that was heavily dove by these resorts is really in bad shape. Apo Island is damaged on one side. There are excellent dive locations near there like Apo Island and Sequor and Sumilon. But just beware that the near area diving is not good for now or possibly years to come. Liquid Dumaguete is an incredible resort that offers great value. The owners ran a dive shop in Malapasqua before starting this place. They just need to get a bigger boat and venture out to Apo and the other sites.
