Comments From airport a 3 hour drive in AC van from one side of island to the other -- very scenic and interesting. Lei greeting at resort and given quick orientation. Our room was roomy with a patio for viewing sunsets. Dive master met with us to explain their operations. This is true valet diving -- they take care of everything except your wetsuit and booties. Each diver has designated area where their equipment is stored/hung overnight. Separate rinse tanks for cameras, wetsuits, BCs. Their roomy banca boat provides very easy giant stride in and steps w/2 crew members to help you out. With storm the previous week, vis was down, but diving was still enjoyable. Saw lots of nudibranchs, sardines, bat fish, huge frog fish on almost every dive, and so many big turtles we lost count. Also saw schools of barracuda and jacks, and beautiful soft corals. Most dives were walls and drifts, but not too fast. Our dive master Ta Ta pointed out so many little things we would have missed. We were lucky, after diving with a full boat the first day, we were the only divers the rest of the week. First class treatment. Food was good -- kitchen accommodated dietary needs. The entire staff was friendly and welcomed conversation.
