Comments	Excellent diving, very healthy reefs, numerous large schools of fish and the occasional shark in an extensive no-take area. (Snorkelers saw a school of bumphead parrotfish numbering between 80-100 individuals.) Our dive guide was great. The owner, a true visionary, deserves kudos for having been instrumental in getting the Indonesian government to designate Raja Ampat as a shark and marine sanctuary, and has done a great deal to support the local communities. Negatives were: 1)Nitrox system has apparently been functional only off and on since September 2012, and was down for most of our visit. 2) Food was mediocre at best, although breakfasts were reliably good. 3) Cost was extremely high. 4) More attention needs to be paid to maintenance of the accommodations, boats and motors.
