Comments I spent 2 nights at the Menjangan Resort between live-aboard trips. The resort is located in northwest Bali and is about a 4 hour car ride from Denparsar. The resort is located within a national park. I had a very large, clean, modern room with nearby pool access. The resort property is quite extensive so that one must take an open, double-decker van from the main lodge to the room to the beach/dive shop. There a plenty of endemic, wild Menjangan deer on the grounds. The food at both the beach and lodge restaurants was quite tasty. Both offer fairly extensive menus.

I had 2 great dives at Menjangan island with warm water and good viz with the Blue Season Bali dive operation. The dive guide slowly cruised the reef finding lots of critters to photograph. The 3rd dive was in Bajul Bay at low tide so the viz was quite low.

The drivers to and from the resort were quite accommodating taking me to stores to buy dive lights and batteries.

I would definitely consider returning to the Menjangan Resort should the opportunity arise.
