This boat had fantastic accomodations for UWP. Plenty of work space and charging stations both in and outside your room. Bring those converters if using 220V. The crew took great care when handling any of our equipment. |

This was my first liveaboard and from what everyone on the boat told me, it's only downhill from here (and these were world class divers!). This boat and her crew were truly exceptional. So much space both in and out of our room. The tender guys were great. The food was unbelieveable - no one went hungry. The dive masters exceled at finding animals, addressed everyone's "wishlists" and really were fun to hang out with. We started in Ambon and made our way up to Raja over a period of 10 days. We had everything from muck critters in Ambon to a few pelagics at Cape Kri. The critters and giant calms were fantastic. The mangrove area is not to be missed. Raja is as beutiful above the water as below. If you get a chance to go ashore, you really should (so take your malaria meds and bring your above water camera lenses). Prepare for zero to wild currents. Some people had reef hooks, which we will def. do next time. My only complaint is that there were a couple passengers on board who had been "banned" from other liveaboard operations (VERY poor behavior and careless undewater w/the coral). I hope Archipelago follows suit, as these folks really made life miserable for the rest of us... Aside from that Archipelago is worth every penny - book ahead as it does fill up. We will def. go again! Please feel free to email me w/any questions. |
