Comments	Sandwich Island Divers (SID) Kailua-Kona, Hawaii SID is my type of shop, medium size boat, limited number of divers and the operator lets you dive at your level. This is not to imply a lack of safety or communication. I watch the owner Steve work with new divers and first time divers. His main concern is safety and then the group’s ability. Steve always had an additional diver on the boat that was an additional guide. Both Steve and his helpers took the time underwater to point out interesting things which we discussed back on board. I have over 170 dives and Steve pointed out to me my first frogfish, he was small maybe 2 inches but so cool. Steve likes to dive slowly and look around which is the best way to see the cool stuff. Diving with Steve and his co-workers is like diving with a friend not a company. The boat holds 6 comfortably 8 would be a crowd. If you want a personal dive trip with a friend (no matter what our diving level) I highly recommend Sandwich Island Divers.

UW Photo Comments	no rinse tank on boat but they were sensitve to the cameras and made sure they were safe and out of the way.
