Comments None]We selected Hawaii as a vacation spot where we could rent a house and those of us who wanted to dive could dive. I would not go to Kona just for the diving, though we did have an extraordinary experience with dolphins one day. At least 40 of them stayed with us for the entire hour and ten minutes we were in the water. I have been diving for 34 years and have never been in the water with so many dolphins for so long. I am writing this because Pacific Rim Divers is a small, very personal, high service dive operation. Boat takes maximum of 6 divers. In addition they serve you home-made brownies, fresh fruit and a host of other goodies during the surface interval. When you are finished diving they wash your equipment. They have rental equipment and nitrox. My step-daughter and her fiance who have not been diving as much as I and are not spoiled loved the diving and we all had a great time.
