I was group leader on this trip coming back from Palau and I guess that I
would have enjoyed it more if I had went to Hawaii before Palau. But Oahu
is poor diving if you compare it against Palau and only fair diving if you
compare it against my home state of Florida. Bruces Dive did a good job
picking us up at the Hotel and taking us to the boat. the crew was
accomdating but the diving in this section of Hawaii is disappointing. But
I am glad I did dive here that way I will not make the mistake of returning
to Oahu again, at least not for diving. Maybe Kona next time but the fish
life is miminial and coral is none. Although the scenery is very pretty
above water, at least I have those pictures which were of good quality.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy seeing this area of Hawaii underwater, the
only problem was that it was not what I had expected. But Bruces Dive did a
good job with what they had to work with.
