We came here specifically to dive the Rainbow Reef and in particular the
Great White wall. We only had two day's of diving and one day of
snorkeling. It is a small dive operation but they take care of all of your
gear including setup, breaking down, washing, and drying at the end of your
diving, plus pickup and delivery to your cabin. The best diving is the
drift diving, it is beautiful and exciting. If divers are inexperienced
in strong currents and doing their safety stops in current, they will be
intimidated. If you have a mixed group of divers, you might not get the
best diving this location can offer. They do break the groups up, with
very competent dive masters, so that helps. Dive briefings were excellent,
the dive boat had fresh juice and food on board. Runs to dive sites were
about 20-25 minutes.
We snorkeled the last day prior to flying. It was spectacular and a great
way to de gas.
The lodge is phenomenal. Beautiful grounds with their own gardens, serving
delicious food. All lodging is in individual or family cabins. Our cabin
was filled with flowers with a large porch overlooking the water. This is
a special place.
