Comments Shore diving was very nice at the resort. My wife spotted a large Octopus on the first dive, during the day. A lot of Lion fish on all the dive sites. Typical reef fish but plenty of health coral. We did not have a chance to dive any wreaks as we wanted time to do some shore diving. The shore diving was good with most of the surface swims a bit longer than at Bonaire. The resort was well maintained. On check in our room was suppose to be an Ocean View but wasn't and it wasn't cleaned. The front desk moved us immediately to the right room and we didn't have any other issues. The resort is mostly visited by Dutch with only a few of us Americans visiting while we were there. We did not try the onsite finer dining restaurant because I had been told by someone who had visited a week earlier that the service was terrible and having stopped by there the first night I could tell that was the case, the staff didn't care if you were there or not. Augusto's which is right across from the resort was a great place to eat with good Italian offerings. There were a couple of places we ate at in town that were good as well but avoid the mexican restaurant at the cruise ship terminal, pretty crummy food. In stead go upstairs from there and enjoy a some great ribs and a view of the ocean. All in all Curacao is a great island, bigger than most with very good diving.

UW Photo Comments My UW DSLR and housing bumped around with smaller point and shoots in their own bucket of water. It was ok but a camera table would have been nice but it was used for plastic cups for drinking water. The DMs didn't always know how to hand off the camera trying to grab the strobe arms rather than the housings handles.
