Comments	Cozumel is much more professional and much safer than it was 27 years ago when I first visited. It is still a very good bargain and the coral is in better shape than anywhere in the carribean, including Cayman. A tropical storm 500+ miles away created surprisingly strong currents, much stronger than I have experienced in some 15 prior trips. Some of the quides were not prepared for this, but with this exception, the guides were excellent. Several nurse sharks, giant parrot fish, octipi, splendid toadfish, and more turtles than Cayman ever dreamed of. The Occidental Grand is all inclusive and has three specialty restaurants as well as an excellent buffet. It's five minutes from Palancar. Four separate dive trips are sceduled each day, plus 3 night dives a week. Special trips to Devil's Throat, etc are regularly scheduled by request. Overall a very good dive trip and vacation.
