Comments Much has been written about Aldora Divers. In my opinion, they are the only operation with which to dive on Cozumel. Small, fast boats (6 divers max), high pressure steel tanks (bottoms times all > 60 minutes), everyone dives a computer. Lots of hawksbill turtles and spotted eagle rays this trip. Villa Aldora is a superb place to stay. North of town but within walking distance, dive boats pick you up at the dock behind the villa. Bicyles are provided for trips into town. Be sure and try Taco Diaz for dinner, Memo will tell you where it is. New internet phones were being installed when I was there. Dave and Memo, the operators, are great folks; Luis a superb divemaster. Prices for diving and lodging at Villa Aldora are towards the top end, but worth every penny. A lot of Aldora's business is from repeat customers. Dive with them once and you won't want to use anyone else.
