Our first but not our last trip to Cocos Island. We're signed up for a July
2004 repeat trip on the MV Seahunter. The Seahunter is already sold out for
Summer 2003! Why? Where else on the planet can you see hammerheads, white
tips,marble rays,eagle rays,mobula rays,manta rays,turtles,jacks,wahoo,tuna
and dolphins all on a single dive! If you want big fish action, Cocos is
the place. If you want to go on the best live-aboard, the Seahunter is the
one. We've been on a number of live-aboards but had never found a dive
operation with the total package until we spent 10 awesome days on the
Seahunter. There is fantastic big fish action. The Seahunter and its dive
skiffs are great and were specifically designed to dive these wild and
crazy waters. The boat has plenty of room, is comfortable and has excellent
food [including bottomless cookie jars]. The crew is outstanding and is why
many consider this dive operation the best in the business. Many thanks to
Captain Roger, Chef Luis, stewards Pedro and Javier, panga[dive skiff]
drivers Yosef and Hugo, and especially to our divemasters Mario and Miguel
for keeping a watchful eye on us and the rest of the group. We hope to see
the entire crew once again July 2004. We can't wait!
