Dive Review of
Amedee Diving Club/Dove while on a Cruise in
Cook Islands/Noumea, New Caledonia

 French Polynesia, American Samoa, Hawaii, Solomon Islands, Galapagos,
Utilla, Tobago, Gulf of Acaba, Sharm El Sheik, Maldives, New Britain (PNG),
Caribbean 

Dive Conditions

Because the dives were drift dives, we were requested to stay together and
come up with the first person low on air. (We were all pretty equal, but
dives were called at 50 min)  

There was nothing much done for UWP, BUT they didn't know that we were UWP
before we came and when they set the boat up.  The subjects available to
shoot more than made up for the lack of rinse tanks!!!!!!!  

Overall Rating

I wish I had known about these folks before I left home.  We found them
because the company I contacted (from the cruise ship) was closed on
Monday, so they turned us over to Amedee.  You do need to know that you
will be gone over lunch and they only provide tea, coffee and EXCELLENT
pastries, so if you need more than that, you need to bring it.  I think the
company is fairly new, but they really try hard.  For me, as I have said,
the subjects available to shoot, made up for any shortcomings on the part
of the boat or operators.  I will definitely be going back, and when I do,
I will be diving with Amedee again.  I will also be asking them to
recommend a resort to stay at and I am sure it will be very, very nice.
