Comments Our group of 26 divers from Wateree Dive Center in Columbia, SC returned to LCBR for another week of diving, a regular occurrence for 25 years. Getting there was no problem, but getting home is another story. The rooms are very nice, with 2 queen beds in ours, a mini fridge & was well appointed. The service staff is excellent in every respect. The food was not up to their usual standard the first part of the week, but ... Subscribe to get the full story. If this is the first time you've run into this problem in 25 years you've had a good run of luck, and I'm surprised you've never heard of CA issues before. I also travel to LC and have learned 1) don't send bags early and 2) leave at least 4 hours leeway between flights to GC and connection. It’s just the way it is. Thankfully now there’s AC and WiFi at the GC airport. As for losing luggage on the way home - who cares, you're not missing any diving, and they'll deliver your bag eventually by UPS/FedEx.

Hey! Never said I hadn’t had a problem with CA before, but this was the most frustrating. I looked at one of my first reports in 2003 or 2004 & mentioned it then. Love the diving & LCBR! Almost like this is the “price we pay” to enjoy diving. Take care & good diving!
