Comments	This is our eighth trip to the Carib Inn, so they must be doing something really right! Many folks come for the same week (or three) every year! The small size of the operation and staff retention makes it feel like home! The impact of construction on the island; divers in the water; and hurricane activity over the last 15 years have taken their toll on Bonaire. It isn't the pristine place it was when we first visited in the '80s. But we'll be back! Why - very good diving every day. We arrived when Tropical Depression 7 (later known as Gustav) was forming to the north. This brought uncharacteristic rain and a wind reversal, making some favorite sites somewhere between uncomfortable and undiveable.

Enforced diving restrictions	Come back with some air. Our typical dives ran about 1-1/2 hours with max depths in the 60 to 80 foot range. Some of our boat mates were hitting over 100 feet and still lasting 1-1/2 hours! Boats ran with 2 to 10 divers.

UW Photo Comments	Quick trips on the boat, so there is no accommodation for cameras. Staff is careful with your camera and always ready to hand it in and retrieve it for you. Back at the shop, a separate rinse tank is provided for cameras.
