Photograph shop on premises, but was not staffed a lot of the time because
he would be out on the boat. Very annoying. Had to go chasing around to
find someone to help us in the meantime.

True natives not all that friendly but translplants were extremely nice.
Case in point, owner of Chat 'n Browse (from Connecticutt I think) loaned
us his binoculars for our drive tour around the island. He didn't ask for
collateral, ID, NOTHING!!!!Amazing trust! Humidity was terribly high and
temps in low 90's but the wind kept it tolerable, barely-HA. I wish we had
known to be prepared to pay for small purchases in Dutch $. When using
American, locals were either ignorant on conversion or very conniving--they
would cheat you nearly every time. Also wished we had brushed up on
Centigrade to Farenheit conversion. Oven in our rental cabin was in
centigrade!! Luckily we weren't trying anything critical and muddled
through. A guide taped to the wall would have been helpful!! We flew round
trip on American/American Eagle and had no lost/delayed luggage, no missed
flights, no problems!
