Overall Rating

The Bad: Dutch Caribbean Airlines (DCA) was terrible and cost us a day and
a half of diving due to passenger delays and even longer luggage delays.
Outbound, we were flying Miami to Curacao to Bonaire, all on a Saturday.
The Miami to Curacao flight was delayed so much, that we were forced to
spend Saturday night in Curacao. The 10 minute flight from Curacao to
Bonaire was supposed to leave Sunday morning, but was delayed so much that
we did not arrive in Bonaire until 8:30pm Sunday night. Additionally, our
luggage (with all of our dive gear) was still on Bonaire and was not
delivered to us until late Monday morning. Thus we lost diving for all of
Sunday and half of Monday. The final insult was on our return flight. We
had 5 hours to make a connecting flight in Miami, but DCA was so delayed on
Bonaire that we missed our connecting flight, we had to spend the night in
Miami, and arrived home a day late. Avoid DCA at all costs.

The Good: Buddy Dive Resort was great and the diving on Bonaire was great.
