Comments Stayed at Divers Paradise part of Black Durgon, nice apts at $65 night. Black Durgon is for budget minded divers who like to shore dive. Bare bones operation for independent divers. Yellow Submarine dive shop, efficient but not overly customer service as to help with tanks or getting back on the boat. Unfamiliar with dive sites, rarely pointing things out to divers. Never heard the word buddy all week with average of 8 or more divers on the boat. Reefs damaged from storm Omar and generally fished out. I saw boats fishing daily on reefs. Marine park is a joke. I was here 10 years ago and it was pristine. Now a week of diving, no lobsters, frog fish, sea horse or any thing more than six inches in length. Government is not putting any money in to roads, narrow with pot holes. Few beachs and many shore dives require you to walk over rocks, some steep. I find Curacao to be better from all perspectives. I will not return to Bonaire. Final straw, DiviDivi air charges 0 for overweight on the way over from Curasao but charged $40 on the way back.
