Enforced diving restrictions
Once in the water we were told to go to 15 feet or, if
comfortable, go to 40 feet and wait for the divemaster. Since neither of
us left the surface, I don't know of any other limits.

We were booked in with this dive operation in combination with our
accommodation and so did not have a choice. Hustler was an accident
waiting to happen. Our party had three experienced divers plus two who had
only just completed open water certification for whom this would be their
first "real" dive. The rental equipment was old and
malfunctional. The operation wanted one beginner to use a free flowing
regulator, then to use the secondary instead. We protested and she got a
different setup. Once in the water, this one leaked air into the BCD
continuously. A member of another party had a sticky air guage which
suddenly went from 1500 to zero at depth, and she was out of air!. The
weather was too rough for only one divemaster considering the inexperienced
divers .. seas of 3 to 5 feet at the dive site. We rolled off at the back
of the boat and were told to swim to the mooring line and hold it untill we
could go down. Most of us got tired of being slammed up and down 5 feet by
the mooring line and either made it back to the boat or submerged enough to
get out of the wave action. The latter people did a short dive minus
divemaster who was too busy helping the rest get back in the boat. Those in
the boat got sea sick quite quicky, and all of us were very thankful to get
back to land in one piece. Our party refused to dive with this operation
again, and dived with Ecologic Divers and Amigos del Mar who were both
fantastic. We all dived the Great Blue Hole on the last dive day which
made up for our dreadful start. Turns out Hustler was in the process of
being sold. All I can say is "sell it quickly before someone gets
hurt or worse"
