Comments	My friend and I arranged to dive with Avadon Divers at Gladden Spit Silk Cayes Marine Reserve on April 14. We entered into this adventure somewhat skeptical about seeing a whale shark. I expected a distant glimpse of the creature at best. Boy was I surprised! A juvenile whale shark (approx. 20 feet) approached immediately. He stayed with us throughout most of the duration of our dive. The animal seemed curious and confident with the divers. There were about fifteen divers in the area with three different operators. I think the shark approached each of us at some point. This is certainly one of the most exciting dives I have experienced. Avadon Divers was another surprise. The boat, a brand new 46 foot Newton, was purpose built for diving. It was clean, comfortable and well arranged. A delicious meal was served during our surface interval. More impressive though the crew was considerate and professional at all times. Anne-Marie and her brother Phillip have a great understanding of what it takes to deliver a quality diving experience. I hope to have an opportunity to dive with these folks again and soon.
