Comments The crew was great. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The cabins were adequate. but nothing special. The diving was good. The weather was problematic. We missed a day and half of diving due to weather and that seems to happen from time to time in the Bahamas.

The Nekton leaves from Fort Lauderdale, so there is no need for international flights. The SWATH design of the boat makes for a more stable ride, but when the weather is bad it still rocks.

I was disappointed that the promised Nitrox was not available. This seems to be a periodic problem on the Rorqual. I had hoped for a photo course to help me learn my new camera, but there was no "photo pro" on the boat.

The weekly photo "contest" was fun. The winner gets their photo as the background for the boat computer for the next week and bragging rights.
