Brisas is the former Costa Club which was the former Fiesta Inn.
Accomodations are clean and the hotel is well run overall. Breakfast
continues to be a buffet while lunch and dinner (for the most part) could
be ordered off a menue. Food was generally good. Dive Paridise can be a
bit of a "cattle boat" operation at times. Some divers continue
to bring their gear on board the boats in large travel bags which can take
up a lot of space. Evidently, they havent heard of mesh bags! Dive
Paridise continues to run a nice operation with thourough briefings and
safe procedures. In between dives, the divemasters offer divers small
sandwiches, fruit and drinks. Fish in the Cozumel area tend to be the same
as other venues in the Carribean but more plentiful and somewhat larger,
especially the Anglefish. You really can't beat Cozumel, Brisas and Dive
Paridise for really good "Carribean" diving at a reasonable
price. My sixth time there and I think I'll be going back again next year.
