Comments
Good: Saw hammerheads & mantas on same dive, sharks were 5-7 ft. away
and not afraid. Good: Saw octopi frequently during day. Good: no other
divers, only shop in town, sometimes only 2-3 divers. Bad: can't get to
see Pygmy Orcas unless weather permits due to rough seas; only go during
Marquesan summer December-April if you want to see them. Overall: Wild,
remote, pristine, rustic accomodations, beautiful island; expect the
unexpected.
