Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo is not a dive destination. This was the worst dive of my
life. Only a few small brown fish, like diving in pea soup. Rough boat
ride to get there. Current/surge was relatively strong. Water was too
cold for a 3 mm wetsuit. We had thought originally about doing 2 dives but
decides on just 1 after realizing it was so lame.

The Costa Club in Ixtapa was sort of a low quality Club Med type all
inclusive place with particularly bad food. Got dragged there by a bunch
of non-diving friends looking for an all inclusive place. Club Meds are
way better. The pool was nice though at least.
