Aldora remains an excellent dive operation, running steel tanks (120s for
men, 100s for women) and all-computer dives in small groups. They work
hard to assign divers of like skill together, and are very reasonable
about deciding where to go for a dive and what the time/depth limits will
be (all drift diving, so everyone pretty much needs to stay together).
They are almost always on time (usually early!) and offer long surface
intervals at local beach spots between dives. Omar and Memo (Bill) are
knowledgeable and easy-going divemasters, fun to be with ... In late
November, the eagle rays are everywhere!
