[ This was a dive in the Illonois River located in the town of Selma
Oregon. The site is situated at the end of a very rough road, which
requires a four wheel drive vehicle to get to. The staff at Seahorse gave
me a ride out there.
This dive site was beautiful. The river flows through a narrow rocky
canyon bottom, with pebbled river bottom, sculpted ledges, and fish. The
current was easily swam against and provided a leisure drift dive on the
return to the entry/exit point. The staff at Seahorse were great! I
traveled with a drysuit, but really could have used a wetsuit. When you
are done trying rafting go diving in an Oregon river.
